A couple of quick thoughts about this week's game. First, we need to get up big in a hurry and give our young players some snaps. I can't remember a season when we have had less time for the reserves. This has always been an advantage for us. Especially Stuntz needs to play meaningful snaps. He hasn't been in a game for a month. Frank tends to stick to his starters a little too long in these kinds of games. I hope he gets a lot of people in early, because the score doesn't matter.
One last thought on the Texas game. Ruud played a great game. He was back to his old self. He must have been healthy.
Huge game next week. Our goal now is to improve our bowl situation and get to a more visible bowl for recruiting. I wonder if Steele can start recruiting for us, even though he is still on the Baylor staff.
Keep the faith. GBR.
