Commentary |
Neeley: It was painful to watch NU get beat in all phases of the game in that first half.
Sipple: Nebraska's offense was too often feast or famine. It's a style that can wear out NU's defense.
Shatel: The Huskers are 2-0. But who are they? Where are they going?
Stryker: On a positive note, youth stepped forward and took some responsibility for the Huskers.
|
Bishop: Disciplined defenses are not going to simply allow the big play to happen once every seven snaps.
Severe: The fourth or fifth best team in the WAC at times dominated both sides of the line play.
Husker Mike: It's not a win that gives you a lot of confidence that this team is ready to compete in the Big Ten.
|
Chatelain: The Huskers got beat at the line of scrimmage. On both sides of the ball.
Purvis: Does the team have what it takes to
stand up to the physical rush attacks were about to see?
Zatechka: The lack of an identity on offense affects more than just, well, the offense.
Feit: This team is capable of facing adversity
yet still finds a way to win.
