Big Red Cobcast Preview #239: Nebraska is for Huskers

There are a bunch of ways to watch Nebraska win. Beating Michigan State in the snow. Snaring Wandale Robinson away from Kentucky. Cheering the Huskers’ volleyball team into the Final Four. Watching Isaac Copeland slam home the final touches of a cathartic win over Creighton.

All of it is great, and none of it is on an à la carte menu. If you’re a Husker fan, you carry that “N” with you everywhere you go, for better or for worse. And damnit to hell if it wasn’t a great week for all true Huskers this week. Everyone who’s stepped foot inside the Nebraska state border has gotten the lecture over and over, but if you’re a Husker, you’re a Husker. There’s no mixing of red and blue. That’s called purple, and Northwestern wears purple. Do you really want to be Northwestern?
