This is Joel's shrine in Florida. Just a hunch, but this might very well turn out to be the only kitchen display we'll ever receive. He has turned his photos into a YouTube video, and his comments appear below.
I grew up in Nebraska and moved to Melbourne, Florida in '83. I saw your invitation to share pics of our Husker shrines and thought I would share mine. It's a knick-knack shelf in my kitchen and is really a
Huskers/Raiders/Hooters/Magic Slim/Nebraska shrine but I added some Husker items from around the house for the photos.
Highlights include:
- snapshots of me & my buds, Tom & Bob, posing in front of the 1998 Orange
Bowl scoreboard
- 2001 Nebraskaland calendar autographed by Dr. Tom
- guitar autographed by Magic Slim
- framed photo of Magic Slim playing my guitar at the Zoo bar
