Commentary:
Stryker: A performance like this gives the offense a sense that its part of the band, not just the background singers.
Shatel: They say young people are resilient. Nebraska's kids picked a pretty good time to remind us.
McKeever: Its easy to picture the Huskers in a lot worse shape had Gomes not forced the games only turnover.
Sipple: The Huskers appear to be on the brink of winning the North, warts and all.
Kerkhoff: By following a defensive masterpiece triumph over Oklahoma with Saturdays where-did-that-come-from offensive performance, the Cornhuskers have become the first division team to show some stretch.
McKewon: Lee needed to be part of the solution from the opening play. Shawn Watson made sure of it.
Chatelain: He had seen Watson transitioning to more power sets the past month, so Osborne offered a few pointers. The message: You may want to try some of this old stuff.
York: Maybe its time to focus on what Nebraska has instead of what it doesnt have.
