Commentary:
Stryker: “A performance like this gives the offense a sense that it’s part of the band, not just the background singers.
Shatel: “They say young people are resilient. Nebraska's kids picked a pretty good time to remind us.
McKeever: “It’s easy to picture the Huskers in a lot worse shape had Gomes not forced the game’s only turnover.
Sipple: “The Huskers appear to be on the brink of winning the North, warts and all.
Kerkhoff: “By following a defensive masterpiece triumph over Oklahoma with Saturday’s where-did-that-come-from offensive performance, the Cornhuskers have become the first division team to show some stretch.
McKewon: “Lee needed to be part of the solution from the opening play. Shawn Watson made sure of it.
Chatelain: “He had seen Watson transitioning to more power sets the past month, so Osborne offered a few pointers. The message: You may want to try some of this old stuff.
York: “Maybe it’s time to focus on what Nebraska has instead of what it doesn’t have.
