Porter failed at center, but both teams were offside.

Andrews punted out to the Gopher 24.

Minnesota: Uram’s pass hit the turf. Huskers rushed him. Again Uram’s pass hit the ground. Andrews intercepted Uram’s pass on the Husker 48.

Nebraska: Andrews made three around left end, but the play was recalled, both teams being offside. Howell smashed through the middle for three. Kilbourne went in for R. Johnson. Howell rammed over right tackle for four.

Andrews was thrown for an eight-yard loss trying left end. Kulbitzki for Elmer. Seven seconds to go.

Andrews took the pass from center, held it and the gun popped. The crowd went “crazy,” swarming on the field and surrounding the Huskers who, exhausted, were trying to drag their way to theh dressing room. Bernie Bierman, for the first time, crossed the field to the place where Major Jones stood. In other years it was Dana Bible who always made the last walk.
