Nebraska held off Iowa in Iowa City as the Hawkeyes failed on a field goal attempt in the last four minutes of play. Mike Hyland's drop-kick would have been worth four points. Nebraska's two touchdowns came on a short run by fullback Ernest Kroger and a long pass reception by end James Harvey, according to the Omaha Bee.
