Gallery: Husker baseball pummels New Mexico State in series opener

Alex Gordon threw the ceremonial first pitch Friday night, and Nebraska baseball proceeded to open its home series against New Mexico State with a 14-2 rout of the Aggies. On the mound, Brett Sears struck out a career-high nine batters and gave up just two hits in eight scoreless innings.
