Thursday practice: South Alabama week

Head coach Scott Frost said after Thursday’s practice that no decision has been made on the status of running back Maurice Washington for Saturday’s game. He said the Huskers intend to redshirt Luke McCaffrey even though the freshman quarterback had a “phenomenal” fall camp.
