Nebraska Theme License Plates - HUSKRJ - Florida

We moved from Omaha to Ocala, FL in the summer of 1999. Not long after, I traded our white Grand Am for a "Big Red" Dodge Ram sport edition quad-cab truck. Since it was in the heart of Florida, I ordered the personalized plates "HUS KRJ" for the Huskers and my fan web site, HuskerJ.com. I occasionally got a few snide comments, but a friendly reminder of "62 to 24" usually turned the smirks to sheepish grins. I kept the plates until 2005 when we returned from a tour in Germany and replated the truck upon moving to Louisiana. The plate image still serves as an "email me" icon on the web site, as it did since the day I got them in 1999.
