Helmet Auction to Support RAINN

A full size helmet with the signatures of Nebraska and Penn State Heisman Trophy winners Johnny Rodgers, Mike Rozier, Eric Crouch and John Cappelletti will be auctioned off on eBay starting November 30th. The helmet was donated by the Johnny Rodgers Youth Foundation. Details and photos are below:

RAINN is the acronym for Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network. The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1.800.656.HOPE and the National Sexual Assault Online Hotline at rainn.org, and publicizes the hotlines' free, confidential services; educates the public about sexual violence; and leads national efforts to prevent sexual violence, improve services to victims and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.

Prior to the Nebraska-Penn State game a grass roots group of Penn State Alumni started the #ProudPSUforRAINN campaign to raise $500,000 to help survivors of sexual violence. Donations from the campaign will directly benefit RAINN's prevention and education initiatives and provide support for those affected by this crime through the National Sexual Assault Online Hotline (online.rainn.org). All of the proceeds of this auction will be donated directly to RAINN.
