Tuesday practice, Illinois week
Defensive coordinator Erik Chinander said the defense is improving, particularly in forcing turnovers, but is still “not even close” to where it needs to be. He said Illinois has a “dynamic” running back in Reggie Corbin, who had 213 yards on just 13 carries Saturday against Minnesota.
Head coach Scott Frost also spoke after Tuesday’s practice on the Big Ten coaches teleconference.
