Tuesday practice: Troy week

Assistant coaches said after Tuesday’s practice that Nebraska’s defense needs to do a better job creating turnovers. There were zero against Colorado. “Fifty passes, we should have some takeaways,” said defensive backs coach Travis Fisher.

Quarterback Adrian Martinez didn’t practice and was seen wearing a compression sleeve on his right knee. Head coach Scott Frost said on the Big Ten coaches’ teleconference that he was done talking about the play in which the injury occurred.
