Early signing day, class of ’19
The first day of the early signing period for the recruiting class of 2019 went as expected for Nebraska.
Three signing-day announcements went Nebraska’s way — Ty Robinson, Jimmy Fritsche and Brant Banks — but the long-shot possibility of landing Lloyd Summerall didn’t pan out. Coach Scott Frost indicated there could be a couple of early signees besides the 23 revealed Wednesday and said the class could grow to 30 in February.
