Nebraska 34
Kansas State 12
Nov. 29, 1923
Nebraska rolled up 31 first downs and 424 yards from scrimmage in closing the season with a convincing Thanksgiving Day win over Kansas State in Lincoln.
The Huskers' first score came when sophomore end John Rhodes returned a Kansas State pass attempt for a touchdown in the first quarter. Nebraska officially never punted, as its one kick was waved off because of an offside penalty that gave the Huskers a first down.
The Aggies enjoyed some offensive success of their own, accumulating 220 yards, more than half by passing.
