Two long-distance touchdowns in the fourth quarter -- a 70-yard run by Ernest Frank and a 75-yard interception return by Warren Howard -- rallied Nebraska to a 14-3 win over Kansas in Lincoln.
The Lawrence paper insisted it was "really a glorious victory" for the Jayhawks because they outplayed Nebraska for much of the game.
