Kansas 18
Nebaska 0

Nebraska twice squandered scoring chances within 10 yards of the goal line as Kansas shut out Nebraska in Lincoln. The Omaha Bees account said the Kansans clearly outclassed their opponents in team work. One of Kansas touchdowns came on a fumbled punt.
The Lincoln Evening News did not take the defeat well. Its headline said Nebraska played like sacks of wheat and Kansas made monkeys of Nebraska boys. The story was so filled with sarcasm and dark humor that the writer neglected to mention the score.
