The Huskers shot 56 percent and put six players in double figures against the Lions, who won 22 games en route to an NIT bid last season. Palmer also added four assists and four steals, as the Huskers first-half runs of 22-0 and 22-2 to build a 36-point halftime cushion.

Glynn Watson Jr. had 16 points and six rebounds, while Isaac Copeland (11), Isaiah Roby (10), Thomas Allen (10) and Brady Heiman (10) all reached double figures to help Nebraska win its 13th straight at home. The 13-game home win streak is the longest since moving into Pinnacle Bank Arena in 2013.

Nebraska forced 25 turnovers and held Southeastern Louisiana (1-2) to 27 percent shooting, as the Huskers have allowed 36.5 ppg in its two wins.

The Huskers trailed 7-4 in the opening minutes before running off 22 straight points, as NU held the visitors scoreless for more than eight minutes in building a 26-7 lead. Palmer then had seven points in a 22-2 Husker spurt as Nebraska put the game out of reach in the opening half.

Marlain Veal led the Lions (1-2) with 10 points, while Moses Greenwood added eight in a losing effort.

The Huskers return to action Wednesday night, as they take on Seton Hall at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Tipoff for the Gavitt Tipoff Games matchup is set for 6:30 p.m.
