A wayback win
It was 95 years ago this month that Nebraska got its first win against the Western Conference, now known as the Big Ten. And the Cornhuskers did it the hard way, as an underdog on the road against Minnesota.
The Cornhuskers appeared to be on the ropes late in the first half but were able to repel three Gopher threats near the goal line.
After halftime, Nebraska took control and finally pushed across the goal line late in the game for a 6-0 victory.
