Quarterback Jerry Tagge suffered what was described as a slight groin injury during Thursday’s practice, but it wasn’t enough to keep him off the 47-man travel roster for the Colorado game.
Regardless of Tagge’s status, Van Brownson was expected to make his third consecutive start at QB. Split end Woody Cox was on the travel roster even though it was reported a day earlier that a shoulder problem would likely force him to stay home.
The Lincoln Star’s Hal Brown predicted a 24-13 Nebraska win.
