Nebraska and LSU both practiced outdoors Tuesday, although the Tigers’ session in Baton Route was cut short by rain.

In Lincoln, coach Bob Devaney said the Huskers’ passing game had suffered somewhat because the first three bowl practices had been held indoors. He said controlled scrimmaging might take place before the Huskers wrapped up their Lincoln practices Friday.

The Nebraska staff continued studying LSU game film, working backward from the end of the Tigers’ season.
