The Huskers practiced in the Field House for a third consecutive day Saturday, but there was hope for better weather and outside drills in the coming week.
On the newly unveiled travel roster for the Orange Bowl, most positions were stocked at least three deep. Sixty-eight players were on the list for the trip to Miami to face LSU.
In Memphis, Colorado did Nebraska no favors by losing Saturday to Tulane in the Liberty Bowl. The 17-3 upset could only hurt pollsters’ perceptions of the Huskers’ strength of schedule.
