Bloomington, Ind. — The No. 8 Nebraska volleyball team won its fourth straight match by sweep with a 25-20, 25-18, 25-20 victory at Indiana on Saturday night at University Gym.

The Huskers improved to 20-4 overall and 11-3 in the Big Ten with their fourth straight sweep. Indiana dropped to 13-13 overall and 3-11 in Big Ten play.

Kadie Rolfzen had 12 kills, five digs and a career-high six set assists, while Amber Rolfzen posted 10 kills, six blocks and a career-best .750 hitting percentage.

Mikaela Foecke added nine kills, while Kelsey Fien had eight. Kelly Hunter posted 35 assists, four blocks, four kills and three digs. Annika Albrecht had three kills on three swings with three aces to push her Big Ten-leading number for the season to 30. Justine Wong-Orantes led all players with 15 digs.

Indiana's Amelia Anderson had 13 kills.

NU hit .366 and held Indiana to .167. The Huskers had a 7-6 blocks advantage and 31-29 digs edge.

Set 1: The Huskers established control from the beginning by staking a 12-4 lead, led by a strong defensive effort with three blocks by Amber Rolfzen. The Hoosiers got within five, 20-15, before Nebraska extended the lead again. The Huskers hit .310 in set one to just .083 for Indiana.

Set 2: Nebraska went up 6-1 on the strength of its serve, as IU committed two ball-handling errors and Albrecht served an ace. Indiana drew within 9-7 before a 6-0 Husker run made it 15-7 with three kills by Fien and back-to-back blocks by Amber Rolfzen and Hunter. Nebraska led 20-11 on an Albrecht kill, but a 6-1 IU run cut it to 21-17. But the Huskers finished out the win, 25-18, to go up 2-0.

Set 3: The Huskers took a little longer to take control in the third set after oddly getting locked in their locker room between sets. But a Kadie Rolfzen kill broke a 10-10 tie before Albrecht took over. She tallied a kill and then served her Big Ten-leading 29th and 30th service aces for a 14-10 lead. Kills by Kadie Rolfzen and Foecke made it 16-11. The Huskers finished off the sweep, 25-20, on a Foecke kill.

Up Next: Nebraska is at Michigan State next Wednesday at 6 p.m. (CT), the third of four straight road matches.
