The Nebraska-Washington game was also the weekend of the third annual Husker Salute to the Troops. I attended the weekend event in Linoln. Below are links to different portions of that event that was attended by 400 members of the military and their families. Also in attendance was a very special guest, Christian Berkshire and his family. Christian is being treated for a rare form of cancer and the Grant Wistrom Foundation paid for the travel expenses for Christian and his family to attend.
