Badgers take over in crunch time: Nebraska battled back from a quick 10-point deficit to tie the game at 17, but No. 9 Wisconsin controlled the fourth quarter on its way to a 38-17 win.

The Huskers took the opening kickoff and raced into the Wisconsin red zone before a huge momentum swing. On 3rd-and-2 at the Wisconsin 17, Tanner Lee’s quick screen pass to running back Devine Ozigbo went through Ozigbo’s hands, ricocheted off his helmet and bounded into the arms of Badger linebacker Chris Orr in stride heading the other way for a 78-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Ozigbo, who notched his third consecutive 100-yard rushing game, became the first back to reach the century mark against the Badger defense since LSU’s Leonard Fournette reached the mark in the 2016 season opener.

The Badgers just flat bullied the Husker defense when the game was in the balance and all momentum seemed against Wisconsin.

[Mike Riley] realizes what he's going to hear in the days ahead. It will go something like this: Look at Wisconsin, winning big the way Nebraska used to win big.

Wisconsin is at a different level from Nebraska. Different in culture, different in physicality, different in program. That’s the harsh reality from Saturday night.

That second-half collapse (Nebraska was outyarded 238-68 after halftime) was a complete embarrassment.

Wisconsin, more than any other regular Husker opponent, always seems to show just how much more work there is to do in Lincoln.

The manner in which the Badgers conducted business in their workmanlike 38-17 victory added a bit to the grief.
