Commentary |
McKewon: Here's what I saw: A haphazard three-hour practice with parameters that seemed to clash with each other.
Neeley: Will the young guns we saw in Lincoln Saturday be there when the lights come on in the fall? They have to be for this offense to be formidable.
|
Sipple: Turner's quick emergence
is a welcome development for an offense that isn't exactly loaded with explosive and proven playmakers.
Husker Mike: I haven't seen Turner throw the ball, but he'd have to be Peyton Manning-like to convince me that he belongs at quarterback.
|
Shatel: There could be a quarterback "situation" next fall. Look for Brion Carnes to push Taylor Martinez.
Ryan: It's something that I myself have preached year after year. It's the Spring game. It means nothing. But I actually disagree this time.
