Commentary |
Stryker: On a windy day in Ames, it was Burkhead to the rescue.
McKewon: The Huskers found a way to overcome Taylor Martinez's absence. Not so much when it came to corner Alfonzo Dennard.
Shatel: Momentum was clearly wearing cardinal and gold. Why risk it?
|
Bishop: Make no mistake about it; the season was on the line here.
Sipple: I loathe the word swagger. But something was missing.
Chatelain: Nebraska won on Saturday because of a 5-foot-9 tailback with a patchy beard and receding hairline.
Keeler: Right call. Wrong guy.
|
Barfknecht: In the big picture, the call made great sense.
McKeever: After this one, the only 'opponent' the Huskers should be looking at is in the mirror.
Husker Mike: So Nebraska won ugly on the road? I can think of five other teams in the Big XII that would love that problem this week.
