“Reach the Youth Tour”

“The 3rd Annual Former Huskers (FHI) All-Star Weekend” is a fun-filled event that will benefit not only the metro area, but will be an excellent way for you to help the community by exposing the youth of Nebraska to positive role models. This year FHI is planning a reach the youth campaign. The “Reach the Youth Tour” is teaming up with area schools for an enriching, encouraging and enlightening tomorrow’s leaders about the importance of Education, Sports, Health and Life.

FHI will be hosting an All Star Banquet on Friday, April 15th, 2005. Professional Speaker “The Enthusiator” and Author of “10 Minute Truths” Aaron Davis will be the host MC for the banquet.

Jay Norvell, the Offensive Coordinator for the University of Nebraska is the special guest speaker for the evening. FHI will also be playing in a Celebrity Basketball game against The Street Ball Legends on Saturday, April 16th at Omaha North High School. There will be a special half-time presentation given by the All-Star Players geared towards the youth in attendance. Tickets for the Basketball game are available here.

Portions of the proceeds will go to assist the Omaha Rebels Youth Basketball Team, the Conestoga Project (Omaha Healthy Start initiative) and the JQJ Center For Boys.

You can help FHI in reaching the youth of Omaha. We would like you to be a part of this fun-filled weekend by becoming a sponsor of the Former Huskers All-Star Weekend. FHI has commitments from some of the biggest names in Nebraska Football history such as Ahman Green/Green Bay Packers, DeJuan Groce/St Louis Rams and DeMorrio Williams/Atlanta Falcons just to name a few. The Youth of Nebraska will benefit greatly from you teaming up with FHI to continue to make Former Husker All-Star weekend a success.
