The straight scoop from Colonel Mustard
Sept. 27, 1999
We played a good game against a solid team. Their offense has been very good and
our D stopped them cold. Unless Mizzou is overrated, we may very well have a
dominant defense. Missouri never had a chance on offense.
Our offense moved the ball except when we stopped ourselves, which happened way too
often again. Too many penalties and turnovers. We were going against a poor defense,
but it helps the confidence. The interception was bad because it was underthrown
and into double coverage.
Alexander needs to hang onto the ball because we need
him. Buckhalter is slow and we need to get the ball to Bobby at least 12 times
per game. Oklahoma State will give our offense a better test.
